Australian housing prices continued to rise, with houses growing by 0.7% and units by 0.3% due to tight inventory and increased competition. Despite expectations of interest rate cuts later this year, the price momentum is likely to persist throughout 2024. Nationally, house prices recorded an annual growth of 10.3% to a median of $870,243, while units grew by 7.9% to a median of $647,406.
